Ch1(1)When Sam DAn BHed established method among kings failed peaceful efforts to resolve cisis among Kauravas and pandvas the only resort was left to use Danda against Kauravas.LOrd krishna went to the court of Dhritrastra to bring truce and he usedSAM(told to kauravas that Pandvas were their own kinsmen and they regarded dhritrasra as their sole guardian hence they must not commit dis honesty with them and to create amity they should get their king dom back but Kauravas particularly DUryodhan and his associates did not accept it , then policy of than (toaccept minimum and renounce maximum) was used Lord put the proposal to give only five villages for the livelihood of five brothers and keep the rest king dom but Duryodhan turned back this proposal and fired back that he would not give that much of land which can cover the uupper side of needle Then lord advanced the policy of Bhed(cause division in associates) but this also not got succeses. now the only way was left to use policy of dand(war) hence the great war of Mahabharat ensued due toredundancy of

duriyodhan and his covetous and warmonger greedy associates.ULtimately war ensued and Sanjaya who was endowed with divya dristi remained in KUrukchhetra for ten days and when BHisma Pitamaha fell on the ground in the battle field he came to inform this to blind king hearing this sad news he asked Sanjaya to give him the real picture of battle field from the begining Sanjaya due to DIvya Dristi had the capacity to visualise what had happened in the past and to forecast what would happen in future. Now Dhritrastra asks that what my sons and Pandavas gathered to fight each other inDharma chhetra Kuru chhetra did what did they do that how did they place them in battle field and how did they start war?
